Something smells in Florida

Another attorney turned me down to file a civil suit against the county and the jail.  Basically he felt that it wouldn't be economically feasible for him to take the case since he thought that the most I could get would be $2000.  I asked him if what happened to me was standard in Southern Florida, and his answer was: "Tsk,Tsk, they were bad boys!"  I find it difficult to believe that the people living in Florida accept these standards.
